Personal Statement

As the breast cancer treatment landscape continues to rapidly evolve with the development of new therapies, I believe the foundation of breast cancer management remains the same — caring for patients across the spectrum of cancer care, from diagnosis to treatment and long-term surveillance. At the core, my approach involves partnering with patients to maintain both quantity and quality of life. I value being able to help support patients through an experience and journey that for many people and their loved ones can be a significantly challenging time in their lives. In doing so, I pride myself on really getting to know my patients and their families. Knowing that through clear and empathetic communication I can help allay someone’s worries and fears during this critical period brings great meaning to the work I do. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to work in this field and alongside the incredible team at the Weill Cornell Breast Center.
